The summer heats up as approx. 150 radio-controlled boats take to the water of Deaconess Sports Park for the 2nd Evansville race of the season.

About the event

* $20 first boat, $10 every other boat

* 4 Rounds of Racing - Shootout style scoring

* Winner take all final in 1/8 Scale, 1/8 scale FE, & 1/6 Gas Scale

*1/8 Scale rules used for all scale classes

*Must be checked in prior to putting boat in water for open water

* 2 minute start clock

* 30 second clock for FE, Boats in the water, then clock starts.

* Classes must meet 3 boat minimum to make a race class, 5 boat minimum to make class in September

* Classes without 3 or 5 boat minimum is subject to cancellation and refund

* Trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd for classes with 5 boats, 1st place only for classes with 3 boats

* All IMPBA rules strictly enforced. IMPBA must be current prior to putting any boat in the water

* Wristbands will be given for all registered competitors

* First day drivers meeting all races 7:30am. (This is subject to change race morning)

* Trophies for 1/8 scale, 1/6 gas scale concourse, and 1/8 scale FE

* We will use the electric rules currently being used by the D14 Madison Club

* At this time, Evansville is only running the P-Limited and 1/8 scale FE.

P FE Limited Power Package Rules

* The P FE package will be applied to any IMPBA B (Nitro) class boat hull. Be it Sport 20, B Tunnel, Mono, or Hydro.

* Classes can be combined or seperated as needed

Power Source:

* 1 single pack or 2 - 4S packs in parallel or 2 - 2S lipo batteries in series

* Fully charged pack(s) cannot exceed 16.8 volts

ESC:

* No restrictions

Motor:

*Motor cannot be modified

*Must be under 37x61mm

*Must be from one of the following 4 manufacturers

  1. SSS
  2. Leopard
  3. TP Power
  4. Dynamite (from RTR UL-19)

* KV is optional (too low you'll be safe but short on RPM and too high creates lots of heat

Prop:

* Prop cannot exceed 45mm in diameter, 2 or 3 blade

1/8 Scale FE

*4092 motor size

*860KV only

*Any size ESC

* 8S only

* 57mm max prop size
